Description
TEFLUBE FLURON 460 is an ultra-high temperature, premium-grade white grease with a smooth, buttery consistency. Formulated with a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base, it delivers exceptional stability in chemically aggressive and oxygen-rich environments. Engineered with a robust PTFE thickener known for its resistance to shear breakdown, and fortified with next-generation additives, this grease provides enduring protection against hot and cold water, steam, fuels, acids, alkalis, as well as both chlorinated and non-chlorinated solvents.
FEATURES & BENEFITS:
- Environmentally Conscious: Free from heavy metals, silicones, and other ecologically harmful substances.
- Strong Metal Affinity: Adheres effectively to metallic surfaces for consistent lubrication.
- Superior Thermal Stability: Maintains controlled oil separation even under high-temperature conditions.
- Inherently Non-Flammable: Offers added safety in high-heat and ignition-prone environments.
APPLICATIONS:
TEFLUBE FLURON 460 is purpose-built for environments where conventional lubricants fall short — from chemically aggressive zones to applications exposed to extreme heat or freezing temperatures. This high-performance PFPE-based grease thrives where others degrade, making it ideal for mission-critical operations.
Common areas of use include:
- Electric motor and furnace wagon wheel bearings
- Thermal-stabilized ball bearings in clip chain systems
- Drying plant chain bearings and stenter frame mechanisms
- Vacuum pumps and systems handling corrosive chemicals like acids, alkalis, fuels, and solvents
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: -25 °C to 250 °C continuous operating & 300 °C peak operating temperature.
